Our camping ground has an over 600 sqm grilling area, where you may sizzle your sausages, steaks and potatoes. Of course we also have room for vegetarians.
You can purchase fresh meats and sausages from our butcher, who is located next to the grilling area. You, therefore, do not have to bring your own meat with and risk it spoiling. The available meats and sausages are from Chiemgau, are subsidised by the festival and do not cost more than in the surrounding area.
The butcher is open on Thursday from 18:00 to 22:00 pm and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 22:00 pm.
If you would prefer to grill in front of your own tent, you can of course purchase your meats from our butcher, but you may not cook on an open flame, as provided by fire, gas or ethyl alcohol. We don't want to run the risk of anyone getting hurt, because we have prior experience with some pretty bad injuries. You may, however, use dry fuels such as, Esbit, grill charcoal or disposable grills, all of these alternatives are available, for about 5.- Euro for purchase.
